CM013 Artillery officer, 1st South Carolina Artillery. Officer with arms and hands on the earthwork recording and directing what his guns had hit and where they should direct their fire. His legs are spread apart not one in front of the other. 54 mm scale metal kit comes with the sandbag base cast in resin as seen in photo. $15.99

CM012 This member of the gun crew is holding a sponge to cool the barrel after firing. The size, the shape of the sponge, and the length of the shaft is identical to those found in the national archives for a Rodmanm Parrott, and a Columbiad. There is a famous photograph of several Confederates on the parapet of Ft. Sumter holding a sponge identical to what you see here.

CM022 Powder Monkey with passbox. A passbox contained the gunpowder charges used to fire coastal guns. The powder came in a budge barrel where it was then converted into charges, placed inside the passbox, and brought to the guns. We wanted to capture the sacrifice of the African American, who fought on both sides, in the American Civil War. Figure painted by Doug Cohen.
