This big Ballroom was our TOC for 3 days of camaraderie, the Business Meeting, a Raffle with
an amazing number of prizes and last but not least was the Buffett Diner
followed by our Guest Speakers.

FT. Campbell Tour
Our timing couldn't have been better. We arrived Just before lunch so we
took advantage of the opportunity
to check out a few of the static Huey displays that were close to the Mess
Hall. As you can see in the pictures, our Mess halls were a whole lot
different than what they have today, they actually have a thing called
choice, who would have imagined. Afterwards we met up with the current A Troop at
their Head Quarters and
they proceeded give us one of the best tours we've ever had. From the politeness
every soldier showed us from the Squadron Commander
on down, to a visit of the Hall of Honor where they have done an excellent
Job of continuing on the history and the Legacy of A Troop, 2nd Squadron / 17th Cavalry
Regiment.

Banquet Dinner with guest speakers, current
A Trp C.O. CPT. John Zeigler and former C.O. CPT. Brett Kubica
along with a welcoming from the Clarksville Chamber of Commerce representative.
Afterwards, Plaques of Appreciation
were presented by the leadership of the Association followed by dinner and then
dancing and singing the night away with
one of the best DJ's ever. Of course being as we are the Cavalry there was only
one way to finish the night off, so we went Loud.
We requested the DJ to turn it up, we held hands and we sang at the top of our
lungs
