Sometime in the early 1930s Jake Honea & Boone McCracken posed for this photo. Jake Honea of Quitaque was Sheriff of Briscoe County for years. He was a very large man as you can see by the size of his horse compared to the others. Photo was taken near the 1875 homestead of his grandparents in what is now Caprock Canyons Park.
