Jimmie Wayne Corder (Born September 25, 1929
in Jayton, Texas - Died August 28, 1998 in Fort
Worth, Texas) was a scholar of rhetoric and
professor of English at Texas Christian
University, a prolific scholar and teacher,
producing dozens of books and articles on the
history and theory of rhetoric studies and the
teaching of writing. He had (and still has) a
cult-like following among those who laud the
figurative, creative style that embody his
philosophy of rhetoric. |
