| Born in Waukegan, Illinois, Laura was raised in a musical family. Dad was a drummer and vocalist in a swing band. Mom played piano, sister and brothers sang and played guitar. Always ready to harmonize, she has sung in community choirs, barbershop quartets and gospel groups. For 20 years, Laura was a member of Kirby Shaw's Community Choir. | Scott
