Planting-General	Dig hole 2X wide as the root ball and 1X deep as the root ball. Likes moist but well-drained to kind of dry once established. Soil types: clay (amended), loam, silt and sand. Likes acid to slightly Alkaline. Soil Ph range of 5.5 to 6.5, acid to slightly acid. Mulch to prevent soil from drying out or getting too hot.
Planting-Spacing	Plant 2.5Ft.-3.0Ft. apart center to center for mass planting. Plant 5.0Ft.+ apart between each plant for more open look, center to center.
Watering	Average. Can add Root Stimulation which helps early root development and strengths roots, as well as, reduces plant shock.
Fertilizing	Feed with shrub & tree fertilizer in early Spring. Keep roots cool with thick layer of mulch to retain moisture during heat of Summer and colder months of Winter.
Pruning	Prune late Winter, or early Spring. Remove any dead or leggy branches to maintain shape. Pinch back tips of steams to promote busier growth and more flowers.
Deer	Deer do favor them. If in a high deer area, spray every 3 to 6 months with deer repellent.
