Height 6-8Ft.
Width 4-6Ft.
Planting-General Dig hole 2 to 3 times wide and 2 to 3 times deep as the root ball. Likes well drained rich organic soil that is slightly acidic. They have shallow roots, and should be well mulched to prevent soil from drying out or getting too hot. Mulch about 2 to 5 inches deep at all times.
Planting-Spacing Plant 2 to 5 feet apart depending on their mature size. Since it can grow up to 6 to 8 feet high, leave at least 4 to 6 feet between each plant, center to center.
Watering Regular watering schedule during first growing season to establish deep roots. If planted in Fall, or Winter, water once every week or two. Planted in growing season, water every day or two for 3 or 4 months. If hot dray spell, water everyday for the first 3 to 4 months. Can add Root Stimulation which helps early root development and strengths roots, as well as, reduces plant shock.
Fertilizing Feed with acid fertilizer after bloom and keep roots cool with thick layer of mulch to retain moisture during heat of Summer and colder months of Winter.
Pruning No need to prune, but to maintain shape or size, pure right after flowering. Always use clean shears to avoid possibly spreading diseases.
Deer Deer do favor their taste. If in a high deer area, spray every 3 to 6 months with deer repellent.
Flowers Plentiful white 3" flowers cover the entire plant among its green broadly shaped leaves.
