Natalie Green Giles decided to chronicle the amazing story of her uncle's life nine years ago, but did not begin in earnest until 2000, a year after Songa's death. An independent consultant and writer working with not-for-profit and public sector organizations, Ms. Green Giles was a former senior manager at Arthur Anderson LLP (where she led the Ethics and Responsible Business Practices group). Prior to that, she was a senior consultant in the New York City mayor's office internal management consulting unit under the Giuliani administration. Ms. Green Giles holds degrees from Williams College (BA, 1987) and Yale University's Graduate School of Management (MBA, 1994). She and her husband live in Brooklyn, NY, and have two young children. SONGA'S STORY, published by iUniverse, is her first book.
