The bowling green officially opened on Sun 19^th April and, as usual, we held our 'American Style' competition. The event was well attended with 16 players taking part. This event has, over the years, become a very popular season opener. The over all winner was Derek Harper with a total of 37 points. Well done to Derek and everyone else for making it a great day in (mostly) warm sunshine. We now look forward to our first league match of the season on Mon 27^th April which is a home tie against last seasons champions Kirkbymoorside at 18:45.
