Family Portraits and Favorite Pictures - 2014

We headed out to lunch on New Years Day and Nancy had to take a picture of the boys who were ignoring them and focused on a football game.

Here are some pictures from Andy's joint birthday party with Charlie.

Here he is playing basketball, followed by a trip to see the Wizards with his team.

While here is Lexi playing in a volleyball tournament.

Here she is again at a later tournament, this one the Capitol Hill Classic.

We had fun trying snowboarding for the first time in February ... and just plain goofing around.

Andy's team made the playoffs.  They won their first game, then lost a very, very close game against the top seeded team.

We also really enjoyed a night out to see a Harlem Globetrotters game.

While we were out, Alexa was at a sleep-over.

Alexa was confirmed this spring.

Nancy had a little too much fun blowing bubbles for Tank in the garage.

Andy can be very cute, but only if he doesn't catch you trying to take the picture.

We were fortunate to be able to head to Colorado for spring break.

We had an amazing time in Vail.

We got to go snowmobiling and zip-lining in Leadville also.

Even Tank enjoyed spring break.

Lexi is still adorable.

Here is Andy at a couple soccer games in May.

Here is Andy's school portrait from the spring.  Alexa didn't get one.

So glad summer is here.

We sure enjoyed Dylan's visit.

Grandma and Grandpa Feind came for a week-long visit in early August.  Sure enjoyed seeing them.  Now if we could just get everyone to look at the camera and smile ... at the same time (especially Andy).

Andy's soccer team was accepted into the Championship Division of the Spirit Kick-Off Classic in Pennsylvania in mid-August.  They won their bracket and the semi-final game, making it to the finals.  Unfortunately, they lost 1-0, but still a great result against several nationally-ranked teams.

We enjoyed seeing the Lion King at the Kennedy Center.

We had fun kayaking near Mason Neck State Park.

Andy had a lot of fun with friends at Lake Anne.

Alexa sure enjoyed crabs with Uncle Bill.

Andy's soccer team took first place in Division 1 and also won their division in the Eastern Development Program (EDP) league.

Here is Andy, who is playing goalie for our NCSL season.

Here are the kids' school portraits from the fall.  Glad Lexi was at school that day.

We enjoyed Grandma Staats' visit.  Here she is with Steve at Sully Plantation.

Steve was still about a 1/2 inch taller than Andy in mid-November.  By Christmas, Andy was taller.

Andy's soccer team won the top bracket at the Capital Area Soccer League (CASL) Boys Shootout.

Andy scored the first penalty kick in the shootout to help win the game.

We headed into DC before Christmas

We headed to the midwest for Christmas.

Tank has a new friend when Zoe arrived at the Fitzhugh's across the street.
