Family Portraits and Favorite Pictures - 2019 We had a good time at a Prohibition Party with several people from Nancy's work.
Finally, snow fall.
I don't think we will be able to forget Andy and Dylan's performance in the Chantilly High School Talent Show, as much as we may desperately try.
Enjoyed a visit with Denny, Cindy and Andrew for a Caps-Bruins game and the SuperBowl.
Tap Dogs was awesome.
Our pets clearly think they run the show.
Senior season on varsity soccer.
The cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin were wonderful this year.
Here is Andy at the driving range, clearly some work to do on his swing.
Andy had a lot of fun with soccer this year in high school.
Spring blooms in Sky Meadows State Park.
Andy went with Corinne to his senior prom.
Nancy and Lexi were thrilled to be at Aunt Sandra's naturalization ceremony.
More soccer pictures (naturally)
Even more soccer pictures, but from a professional photographer which turned out wonderful.
Steve and Pat enjoyed a visit to Harpers Ferry, while everyone enjoyed a couple different baseball games.
Tank had a little too much fun in Difficult Stream after a hike through Great Falls NP.
Enjoyed having family come in for Andy's graduation.
Sure had fun and Andy's graduation party held jointly with Nicole.
End of the soccer season, and likely the last soccer related picture of Andy for a long time.
Graduation time, finally ...
The fun clearly continued after the ceremony
Sure enjoy nice summer days when we can take advantage of the area around us.
Andy sure had fun at Camp Varsity this summer, and at the beach with Corinne.
We headed to northern California for Andy's graduation trip and had a wonderful time. We started in San Francisco and Fisherman's Wharf.
After visiting Alcatraz, we headed east to Yosemite National Park.
From Yosemite, we headed back to the coast and Monterey Bay.
We headed through Big Basin SP on our way back to the bay area.
We returned to a whirlwind of activity getting the kids ready for college, culminating with finally dropping them off at Penn State.
The kids met and sent these pictures in front of the Nittany Lion statue a couple weeks later. Lexi's message that came with them was she couldn't believe they decided to meet on the morning of a football game, as the line was really long.
We enjoyed a trip to Harrisburg and Gettysburg after leaving State College. We also enjoyed kayaking on the Potomac on a beautiful day in early September.
Tank loves to go for hikes. Here we are at Sky Meadows SP.
We went up to Penn State over the first weekend in October to see the kids.
The cats can be a little much at times.
We had a wonderful visit to Great Falls NP with Nancy's family.
We took a much needed vacation in mid-October, heading to Europe for a cruise down the Rhine River with Avalon. It was Bill and Dee's 60th wedding anniversary in mid-August, with our 25th coming next spring. So, we clearly needed to do something special to celebrate. We managed to get Nancy's entire family to join us including her sister Cathy, brother David (who we haven't seen in a couple years after he moved to New Zealand), brother Ken and his wife Sandra, and her Aunt Judy (Dee's sister) and Uncle Bill. The trip was great in so many ways, but the family time was clearly the special part of the trip. We wanted to ensure we managed to get everyone together while everyone was still up for trips like this.
We headed up to Penn State to see Alexa on the weekend before her birthday. We headed to the Outback for dinner (not so good, unfortunately), then went to a volleyball game (good, they won). We then had chocolate cake with caramel sauce to celebrate.
Monty often hides, but magically shows up whenever Nancy is ready for a nap.
The Centauri holiday party was a lot of fun this year.
We also thoroughly enjoyed Fiddler On The Roof at the National Theater.
With the kids home from college, we headed to Richmond to meet up with Aunt Cathy, Uncle Ken, and Aunt Sandra to see Star Wars and exchange presents.
We headed to Missouri then Chicago for Christmas.
