Family Portraits and Favorite Pictures - 2022

Steve and Lexi went to the Van Gogh Immersion Experience in DC in early January, while she was still home on winter break.  They really enjoyed it, spending way too long there.

We had fun in Breckenridge for spring break, even if we did travel 1,700 miles to run into our neighbor.

We enjoyed the cherry blossoms after finally being able to go down to the Tidal Basin this year.

While the occasion sucked, it was nice that Nancy got to see her siblings in Missouri as they came in the see mom.

The kids also went to Missouri too.

The beach was great in April, it was cold, but needed given everything going on.  We also enjoyed a morning boating on the Potomac the last weekend in April.

We both headed to Missouri for DB's memorial service.

We finally got to take our family trip to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary - over two years and five reschedules later.  We headed to South Africa (with a lay-over in Amsterdam on the return flight) with Adventures By Disney, leaving the day after the kids finished finals..  So excited for this and the trip was every bit amazing as we'd hoped.  As we took over 7,700 pictures and videos, combined with another 2,000 images from other "Adventurers" and Guides, figured we'd better provide a highlight page.  Even without the accompanying explanation, these pictures tell a great story.  For more details or descriptions, see the next 23 web pages on the site.

We enjoyed a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend in Delaware.

    We headed back out to the beach in early June for the OC Air Show, with the Rades joining us.

Steve's mom is battling cancer. She had a close friend take a couple good pictures as she noticed she was starting to lose her hair.  She also sold and moved out of her house of 50-years with Steve's help.

       

With Steve in Chicago helping his mom, Nancy headed off to Missouri to attend the Marine Corps Ball with her dad (his first without Dee).

       

       

       

Lexi came home to help celebrate her birthday (or to see her cats).
