Family Portraits and Favorite Pictures - 2025

Had fun celebrating Andy's birthday in early January.

An absolutely amazing trip to New Zealand to celebrate Andy's graduation from Northwestern.  On our first day, we headed out on a ferry to Waiheke for a bike ride around the island.

Started our trip with Adventures by Disney the next day, then enjoyed several activities around Aukland the next day.

We headed to Rotorua next.

It was time to leave too soon, but we were off to the South Island and Christchurch.

And we're off again, this time on the TransAlpine Train over the Southern Alps headed to Franz Josef.

Enjoyed a a couple great hikes during our short stay at Franz Josef.

Next and last stop as we made our way down the western coast was at Queenstown.

Queenstown was amazing and had a well-earned reputation as the adventure capital of New Zealand.

The Adventures by Disney trip was simply amazing.  Now we were on our own, with a week to get from Queenstown to Christchurch.  With David coming in to join us, we stayed in Queenstown for a couple more days.

A truly memorable day in Milford Sounds.

We next made our way to Dunedin.

Back in Christchurch.

Steve enjoyed a trip to beautiful Breckenridge in February.

Happy birthday Nancy!

So enjoyed Andy's graduation ceremony from NUPOC.

Steve and Andy enjoyed a weekend hiking and camping in Shenandoah NP in mid-April.

Alexa is getting pretty excited about her coming graduation.

With some time before he started his residency, Andy hiked the Appalachian Trail through Shenandoah NP.

So this happened ... Alexa graduated in May.

Alexa's graduation trip took us to France, landing in Paris and immediately heading to the Loire Valley and Orleans.

May have peaked early with a hot air balloon ride on Day 2

Next up were visits to more chateaus

On to Paris

All aboard!  Time to start the river cruise along the Seine.

Back to land and walking through Paris.

Seems to be fitting that the last favorite pictures are of Lexi eating a crepe (and sandwich roll).

Back home, clearly the cats missed their girl.

Enjoyed a Cubs vs Nats game in early June.

Enjoyed a visit with Cathy, Ken, and Sandra in early June.
