Family Portraits and Favorite Pictures - 2016 The new year began with basketball for Andy, playing on the Chantilly HS freshman team.
Then it was time for Andy's 15th birthday, which sure snuck up on us.

Lexi went to Colorado Springs in mid-August to stay with the Jester's where she took some horseback riding/therapy sessions.
Andy and Hunor did their summer science projects together.
Steve, Andy and his friends had fun tubing down the Potomac River near Harper's Ferry.
With Nancy and Andy injured and Lexi not feeling too well, our options to adventure to celebrate Steve's birthday were limited, not to mention wanted to avoid too much time in the heat. So we opted for a round of miniature golf and a nice lunch.

We were delighted to have a professional photographer take some family portraits in mid-November. We essentially paid for her time with the session and received the digital images with both a color and black-and-white version of each image.
We tried to go ballooning in mid-November, but got weathered out again.
We enjoyed Zoo Lights at the National Zoo after Thanksgiving.
Andy enjoyed a field trip to New York City and other events with Sara.
We enjoyed a trip to North Carolina to compete in the national league again, even if Andy's new team didn't play as well as desired.
Meadowlark Gardens was beautiful again this year. Glad we could share it with Grandma and Grandpa.

While in North Carolina for the holidays, we enjoyed a trip to a traveling Chinese Lantern Festival being staged in Cary, NC.
After Christmas, Steve and Andy headed on to Florida for National League soccer games at Disney/ESPN Wide World of Sports.
