April 2026 (Part 02)

Potomac River

Early day on the river.  It was just over 70 degrees, but pretty cold with a breeze.  We headed out searching for eagles and wound up seeing about a dozen, which made for a nice day.  Tess joined us to make four.

Tried to take some pictures, but the decent waves made it nearly impossible to keep the birds in the image, nerveless in focus, especially as they took flight almost every time before we could get close.
