Christmas Visit with Siblings in Richmond

We headed to Richmond to have dinner with Cathy, Ken, and Sandra, meeting up at the Revel Market.  This was a great restaurant with mostly tapas.  So we ordered a number of the smaller appetizers and meals and shared them around.  Lexi had her infusion (a long story), and got there just as we were done at the restaurant.

We then headed to the nearby Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens and their Gardenfest Of Lights celebration.  We decided it wasn't as nice as the display at the Meadowlark Botanical Gardens near us, but still was great and a lot of fun.  We had expected to get through in about half the time it took us, so we all got a later start for home than expected.

They had a number of lighted topiaries.  Loved the snail, frogs, and the Minions.

There was a nice greenhouse we reached toward the end of our circuit.

A local train club had a great holiday setup.

They had a small photo booth set-up outside the gift shop on the way out.

We made sure to exchange presents, and sample some of the cookies, before heading home.
