Andy's Graduation Celebration

We headed back home the morning after graduation to celebrate.

On the way back from the graduation ceremony, Nancy, Alexa, and Cathy stopped in Frederick, MD to go to a pottery place.  Turned out to be a really nice downtown area.  Lexi found a blue pie plate to give to Andy as a present.

When they got home, it was time to get ready for a small party for Andy, which included baking three pies complete with graduation decorations.  Ken and Sandra arrived and brought a Chantilly cake.

Meanwhile, Steve and Grandma Pat stayed in Lexi's room and then helped clean and get Andy packed to move out.  When they all got home, we had a small dinner then opened some presents for Andy.  First up was trying on his college ring which had arrived a week or so earlier.

We had made a couple posters with pictures from graduation.  He got a couple fun items including jerky and a Minions Pez dispenser.

Last up was the statue Steve carved for him.

We had a small party for Andy on Sunday.  Uncle Bill and Aunt Judy, along with Uncle Denny and Aunt Cindy, came down, while Sally, the Sparacinos, and Jen Rade all joined us.

Ken carved this watermelon in the shape of prosthetic hands.

Denny and Cindy came down.  They insisted on opening the golf clubs he got.  They also brought a golf bag for Andy.  Can't believe these are the only pictures we took with them, oh well.

The pets helped, mostly by getting in the way
