February 2024 (Part 01)

Wildwood Park in Harrisburg, PA

We met Alexa in Harrisburg in early February.  She had been having a rough week and asked for some Tank time.  We met at a park outside of Harrisburg.  Tank got out of the car and knew he was going on a hike, heading quickly toward a trail before we could change our minds.  He made it a decent distance, then gladly took a ride in the rescue wagon when he got too tired.  We headed back to the the nature center and Lexi and Tank camped out in a shelter while we went for a walk around the lake.  She claimed to have gotten some homework done.

In the meantime, we enjoyed our walked circumnavigating the park.

The lake was next to an old canal, which had a number of geese and ducks apparently nesting in the still water.

There was a small and nice museum.  Had to take a picture of these jigsaw animals for future project ideas.  The butterfly mosaic was made from bottlecaps.

Sure enjoyed seeing Lexi.

Tank was clearly happy and incredibly exhausted after his hike.

Had to laugh at this screen that showed up on our oven in early Feb.
