The cats were sure glad to have Alexa home.

If you're lucky, or just good, all three will join you for a nap.

Tank was really happy with a full house.  Unfortunately, he's had some new issues with his health.  After developing diabetes in April, we finally appeared to have him stabilized and on a good dose of insulin.  But, he has been limping and had a swollen leg for a bit.  We took him into the vet several weeks ago and they provided some anti-inflammatory pills.  While it appeared to help for a week or so, the swelling came back quickly.  So, Alexa took him to another vet appointment just before we left for Greece.  The news was not good.  It is likely bone cancer.  The radiologist said it looked more like an infection (which is possible with his diabetes).  While the vet said that was unlikely, she did prescribe some antibiotics and we made an appointment with the oncologist for when we got back from our trip.  By then, Dog Tales reported he was really no longer putting weight on the leg.  The next appointment confirmed the bone cancer and he was quickly scheduled to have the limb amputated.
