Spring Trip to Missouri

From Chicago, we headed to Missouri to see Grandpa Bill.  We flew into Columbia, which allowed us a chance to see the Boston's for lunch.  When asking where to go, Nancy said she was thinking of Shakespeare's.  Well, Bill was thinking of Checkers.  So guess where we went.

We also stopped at Central Dairy on the way home, because why wouldn't we?

Had to take a picture near Andy's tree, which was a sapling from the 4H program he helped plant there a long time ago (I think from between 2009-2012 when we were living in Omaha)

We went to dinner at Steve's with the sisters, Ted, and Christa on Wednesday.  Karen was there with little Maggie for a bit. 

What would a trip to Missouri be without gooseberry pies?

The next day we helped with some yard work, with Steve picking up sticks and branches everywhere and Nancy weeding one flower bed (with close supervision).  Our reward was dinner at the Outback on Thursday. 

Enjoyed the hummingbirds.

We also got another stop at Central Dairy on the way to the airport on Friday.
