Spring Break in Cancun, Mexico: Day 1-2: Moon Palace Sunrise

We headed to Mexico for spring break with the kids.  We had stayed at a Moon Palace all-inclusive resort several years ago in Jamaica, and wound up buying into a membership, which we were able to use to get several free nights at their resort in Cancun.  They actually had three co-located resorts south of Cancun, on the Riviera Maya cllose to Puerto Morales (along with two smaller one in the hotel zone in Cancun) along with a Jack Nicholas designed golf course.  We pretty quickly got changed and walked around, including enjoying some time on the beach where we saw a number of the activities people with a huge blower making bubbles and foam (it looked like a snow-making machine).  There were kids just running through foam over their heads, emerging covered and giggling, especially the one small boy with glasses who was simply covered head-to-toe.  We also took a bike ride and then enjoyed a steak dinner at one of the restaurants.

Loved that our deck had a hammock, It turned out they were everywhere and how many of the indigenous people slept.  One of our guides said they had beds and hammocks available, and depending on the kid, several chose the hammocks routinely.  They were made from died nylon or cotton string.

Alexa took pictures of almost every flower in the extensive gardens ... well maybe not, but she took a lot of pictures, including stopping many times on a bike ride.
