Birds on the Potomac River

We took an afternoon off at the end of June to spend some time on the Potomac River.  Took a lot of images of bald eagles and osprey, so here are some of the better ones.  Wish they had turned out better in general.  We were in such a hurry to get on the water, that I never really setup the camera before wanting to shot, so never really got the settings right for the subject.

Enjoyed these groups of geese and goslings out for a swim as we headed back to the dock near Occoquan.
