Fun With Pets In The New Year

Andy left behind several items, which we put together in a big care package for him.  Decided the moose needed to wear the bike helmet for added protection during the trip.

Tank went for a long walk in early January, making it almost to the tennis courts before tiring enough to go in the wagon.  Saw a larger herd of deer than normal.

Steve went in to work on a Saturday and got a hilarious call from Nancy.  She had let Tank out and he just starting walking, making it down the block to the bottom of the hill.  She kept trying to turn him around to head back home, but he wasn't having any of that.  He finally sat down and essentially refused to move, even taking a short nap.  Unfortunately, since it was unplanned, Nancy didn't have the wagon and worse, wasn't wearing a warm coat.  Steve got there after a while to rescue them.

We got two snowfalls a couple days apart toward the end of January.  Tank was really happy, almost acting like a puppy.  He was catching snowballs and barking for more.  Rob was even tossing snowballs from across the street.  The cats, on the other hand, were happy inside in front of the fire.

Yes, the cats continue to be annoying and lovable, often more one than the other.

Cosmo got in on the act, climbing on Alexa's neck while she was home.
