Sweet Home Chicago!

Enjoyed a long weekend in Chicago to celebrate Andy's graduation from Northwestern.  Nancy had a nice walk along the Riverwalk with Andy on Friday, and again with Steve on Saturday - from the hotel on Erie St, down along Michigan Ave to the river, west until the end at Lave Ave near Wolf's Pont, then back to the lake.  On Sat they, went north from there and crossed back by Andy's old apartment.  On Saturday, we went back along the river to Michigan.  Too bad, we later learned Andy was watching and was going to come to meet us along the lake had we gone north instead.

That afternoon we took an architecture walking tour, which we all thoroughly enjoyed.  The picture on the left is the Board of Trade.  The picture on the right is considered the world's first skyscraper.

Steve spent a couple days with his mom, enjoying a walk around the lake at the Morton Arboretum.
