Andy's Service Project Trip to Ecuador with the Range of Motion Project (ROMP)

The Northwestern University Prosthetics and Orthotics Center (NUPOC) has a long-standing association with the ROMP program (rompglobal.org), as it was founded by program graduates.  They host several service trips each year to South America to provide prosthetics and orthotics to underserved areas, focusing on patients in extreme poverty.  Andy and about a dozen other people in his program joined them for a trip to Ecuador in late February.  It was a remarkable trip with life-long memories.  They spent about ten days there, arriving on a weekend before, spending a week creating and fitting devices, then a couple days to tour on the second weekend.  Here are some of the initial pictures they posted. 

They had some time to be tourists on the weekend, going up to stand across the equator.  Wish we'd gotten a screen-shot of that location.
