Potomac River Raptors

Nancy and I took a boat out on the Potomac River on Saturday.  No one was available to join us, so we went in search of raptors then headed to Wade's Bay to hunt for fossilized sharks teeth.  We saw over 15-20 eagles!  ... along with a ton of osprey.  There was one spot with 11 eagles in flight at the same time.  What a day to not have brought a better camera.  These are from iPhones.

We saw a couple more eagles on the shoreline.

Just an amazing amount of eagles soaring in one place.

We had a bit of time to go to Wade's Bay; looks like Nancy did a lot better than Stevo.
