Random Fun

Lexi agreed to make a lemon-blackberry cake for a couple Nancy works with.  This is what they had for their wedding cake, and they wanted to celebrate with another one for their first anniversary.  As she'd never made one before and they didn't know some of the specific recipe items, she decided to make four different cakes for tasting, each with a different cake recipe, filling, and frosting.  She also made a variety of chocolate-raspberry cakes.  She invited the neighbors and several friends over for a cake tasting party.

We went for a boat ride on the Potomac, for a change without guests.  We did pretty well finding sharks teeth at Wades Bay.  Nancy had to send the obligatory picture from In-n-Out while in California.  Also, loved this image David sent.

Some continued fun with the cats.
