Delaware Beach for the 4th of July Weekend

A busy holiday weekend at the beach.  Fortunately, we left early on Thursday morning to get there, and early Sunday to get home, mostly avoiding significant traffic both ways.

We enjoyed sitting on the beach for the moonrise.

Lexi joined us for a kayak paddle.  It was rather hot though, so we didn't go very far.  Had fun with this dragonfly that landed on her paddle, which she had to show mom, forcing data to paddle to get the kayak up to her.

A fun paddle out to Cedar Island the next day.  Still lots of egrets nesting.
